This song by Mac Davis was a big hit in the 1980s when I was growing up in Ireland. I have no idea why. But the concept of humility is an interesting one. It’s a little counter intuitive but the use of humility can be very powerful. Being humble can help set a constructive, open tone in a meeting or within a team. It can also demonstrate confidence because it requires vulnerability. Worth trying occasionally.
